Journals Coordinating Unit is a department in Research and Technology-Vice Presidency and is in charge of planning, managing and coordinating all the journals of the university.
Duties:
- Coordinating and managing all the university journals
- Coordinating guidelines and circulars with journal units
- Tracking indexes
- Providing a report of operational plan of the unit
- Tracking journal printing affairs
- Tracking contracts and communicating with the contracting journals
- Tracking the invoices related to each journal issue
- Coordinating for plagiarism software
- Uploading the articles in eprint
- Tracking the payments
